Once the mould had cooled enough to be handled I could start to pry it open. This didn't start off too well with a nice big chunk breaking off with relative ease just as I started.
Luckily however, being a bit more careful the mould came apart relatively easily, revealing the finished foam latex fox.
All in all, I was very pleased with the result, there were very few air bubbles and the flash lines were pretty good, meaning the mould joined together well and stayed firmly shut. There were a few areas where the armature was a little close to the surface, but nothing some careful repair won't hide.
This was a very good first attempt and I'm a lot more confident in the process now and will be happy to do it again, if need be.
